Visiting Paris is not typically a weekend activity. When one thinks of the City of Lights, it is unimaginable to not stay for a week, two weeks or a month. While certainly not a hidden European city, Paris is rich in culture and history, so planning a mere two or three days in la Ville des Lumieres can seem overwhelming.
I should confess from the very beginning that I love history. I started to love history since I was a kid, when I spent so many hours and hours reading about heroes and warriors, defectors and fighters, about magnificent cities and brilliant kingdoms. But I always tried to imagine how they looked like (I guess that’s why I watch historical movies as well)… Sometimes, I managed, sometimes I could not… But since I started to travel, I could see, feel and taste the atmosphere of many of these places which shine in the history books.
There are so many fantastic things to see in Canakkale, but if you are there for some short time you need to make a good choice even before you start your trip. It is good to make a full plan, as this place will amaze you on the first step you make on its ground. The enjoyment will be even greater if you read a bit about all good things it can offer for the tourists.
I tend to believe the tourism was invented in Italy. For centuries, Rome has been the center of the World, well, a big part of the world and masses of people from all over Empire went to Rome for different businesses – from trading to joining the Army, to pay tribute or kiss the Emperor’s hand… And I am definitely sure there were some early-day travelers who came just to see the prestigious and glam city in the World. Well, this is what happens nowadays … millions of tourists from all over the world come to Italy for its ancient monuments, Middle Age palaces, fantastic food, sunny weather and unbeatable beaches. But let’s see which are the top 5 destinations in Italy.
