A couple of weeks ago, I heard from Earl that some girls want to buy a Dacia Logan from Romania and drive it to Mongolia. What a hell ! Why Dacia ? And why to Mongolia ? So, slowly, slowly, a discovered the Mongol Rally and the great adventure. Meanwhile, I also discovered two Romanian teams – Daciotii who are driving an old Dacia 1310 and an all-girls team – Fire Fairies on the way to Mongolia as well… but I would like to ask some questions to Pam  and Charlie from SM Stowaway – a Canadian / US all-female team ready to drive on the Silk Road towards the country of Genghis Han.

Glancing through my bookcase

Today, I have tidied my bookcase. Pretty hard work. But, in doing this, I have reviewed the travel books that I have bought from far away. Some have been written in Romanian, too, but I bought a lot of English travel books. Many of them are purchased from India, the largest producer of books in English in the world where prices are really low … In fact, each time I travel to South Asian countries like India and Nepal, I got my backpack filled with new books. But, until my next trip, here are some books I have read and liked… Which travel books have you read and would you recommend to others?
