Let’s take a short break from my stories and present you the hotel I stayed. Actually, it is not a hotel, it is an all-inclusive resort called “The Smugglers’ Cove”. Apparently, in this hidden gulf, the smugglers did a very lucrative business with the surrounding islands, so the name remained. Now the only smugglers seem to be the US tourists who smuggle margaritas all over the property. For some reason, they cannot make mojito, which I would also smuggle…

This morning did not start on the right foot. At first, the morning sky was not as clear as it used to be the days before. St. Lucia trip

Finally, our first day in the Caribbean, in St. Lucia ! I had fallen asleep rather quickly, so I obviously woke up before sunrise… Pulling the curtains aside, I feel astonished to see that the sky is clear. Wow!!! I was hoping Maria would go away – but not so soon… Why sleep anymore? I have to get ready to catch the first sunrays…

British Airways: Gatwick airport

Last autumn, I was delighted to be invited in one of the most interesting press trips I took part of. I was invited by British Airways in a press trip together with other two Romanian journalist (a well-known style blogger and a journalist from the most prestigious business daily (the Romanian version of Financial Times), but the destination was really special – the Caribbean island of St. Lucia… Never been to that part of the Caribbean, so I accepted instantly… with a lot of pleasure J.
