We continue today with the most interesting sights of Verona in partnership with the Romanian regional airline, Carpatair. Enjoy the reading and if you’ve been there and you have some tips and advices to share, I would be grateful 🙂
Starting today, I will start presenting you some of the destinations operated by Carpatair, a Romanian regional airline with the hub in the wonderful city of Timisoara. We will start with an article about Verona, one of the nicest towns of Northern Italy, better known as the city of Romeo and Juliet, made famous by Will Shakespeare (or whoever was behind him, if we would believe some recent books and movies). I’ve been to Verona twice – in 1994, during my first trip to Italy and in 1997, however Carpatair folks were there even more recently, so, I will publish an excellent article providing tips on what to see… beyond Romeo and Juliet.
The today’s special guest star is a quite special one… Ladies and gentlemen, please, welcome Dani Blanchette, the nomadic girl who decided that it is better to be a gringo in South America than working in the US City of Sin, so she sold everything she had (or at least this is what she claims, although in her pictures I notice she is not naked) and headed to the crazy part of the New World… So, let’s have a look what is in her mind.
After a month spent more or less home, with a few trips around the country, it is obviously, time to go somewhere … and my new destination is People’s Republic of China, the country which amazes any seasoned economist, but also any traveler. Obviously, being such a huge country, it is extremely varied – from frozen deserts to semi-tropical jungle, from Central Asian-type of culture to Tibet, from super-modern cities to rural backwaters… And as I love variety of experiences in my travels, I am looking forward for a multitude of experiences.
It is one of the sunniest towns of Croatia and of Europe. But, on top, it has a wonderful old city, one of the those perfectly preserved historical towns of the Croatia’s Dalmatic Coast. It has nice beaches (unfortunately, no sand) and some nudist island getaways if you hate clothes. Ladies and gentlemen, this week’s photo story is from the wonderful town of Hvar !
