Niagara Falls Nightlife

Niagara

After the excitement of seeing the falls most visitors are tired, so on their first night people tend to stay in and chill. It is a great way to start your holiday and recharge your batteries to enjoy the rest of the sights that are available around the falls.

During the day there is a long list of things you can enjoy, but at night many people end up in the hotel bar which is a shame because there is a lot you can enjoy in the evenings. Here is just a taste of what is out there.

Casinos

The casinos do not really close. If you fancy a drink at 3am and are staying on the Canadian side you are out of luck, but you can get a drink until 4am on the US side.  Both casinos serve food around the clock, so regardless of what time of the day or night you get the munchies the casinos will take care of you.

Nightclubs

In both the US and Canada there are several nightclubs to enjoy. Naturally, these places come and go and are regularly reincarnated. This makes it hard to make recommendations because the nightclub scene is in a constant state of flux.

The Rumours nightclub has a huge dance floor, so if you like to dance that is definitely the place. Niagara’s Hard Rock is a long-term favourite offering dancing under the world’s biggest electronic disco ball. This nightclub offers a view of the illuminated falls, cocktail bars and private snugs all under one roof. You pretty much know what you are going to get with the Hard Rock chain and it is a club that is likely to be open for many more years.

Take in a live show

If you like live music, the casinos have several shows each week. Make a tour of them all to experience a range of music genres.

The Frewin Theatre puts on all kinds of shows. There are magic shows and concerts. The owner of the theatre Greg Frewin is a renowned illusionist whose show features all kinds of animals including exotic birds, lions and tigers. He regularly puts on these shows at his theatre.

Enjoy the falls at night

At night, the falls take on a completely different look and if anything, they are even more beautiful than they are during the day. One of the best ways to see them at night is looking down at them from a hotel room. If you want a room with a view Visit www.marriottgatewayonthefalls.com to book a hotel in Niagara Falls. The falls look fantastic from the rooms in this hotel, especially at night when the falls are illuminated. And it should not be too expensive. You can enjoy the view, saving on the hotel room, using Marriott discount codes.

If you book the right room, you can enjoy room service and maybe a cocktail with your partner while looking out over the beautiful and mystical falls. Who needs a noisy nightclub when you have views like these especially when the fireworks show is on. There really is no better way to spend your evening and experience the magic of the Niagara Falls.

chance to select a room with a view of the falls. At night, the falls are illuminated. They look amazing when you look down at them from your room.

You get access to an indoor pool and can use the spa at the chain’s sister hotel that is located just across the road. This hotel offers the perfect way to unwind after a long and exciting day.

  1. I always think that visiting these breathtaking landscapes in daylight is always better, but this post proves me wrong. The falls look magical with those colors in the photo. And around there are also many activities to take part in too.
    Thanks for the recommendation!

  3. Lovely post! But for me, I couldn’t quite get over the beauty of the falls, hence spending the evening elsewhere was out of question! At night, the lights look magical and one can spend hours standing in front of the falls. However, next time I will take your suggestion, and book a falls view room. Seems totally worth it!

  4. Incredible, we never would have though to experience the falls day and night, and great to hear there are nearby fun places to hang out. We’ll be sure to check out the Marriott too!
