02. Hagia Sophia

The iconic city of Istanbul needs no introduction, it is already known by most as the city split between two continents, linking Europe to Asia via the Bosphorus Strait, former capital of the Roman Empire and home to four UNESCO approved historic areas. In such an expansive city there are enough sights to see to keep your camera clicking for more than a few weeks, but if you only have a short time in this culturally diverse city then you’ll probably want to start by visiting the top sights.

05. Catedrala Sf. Sofia Istanbul

I should confess from the very beginning that I love history. I started to love history since I was a kid, when I spent so many hours and hours reading about heroes and warriors, defectors and fighters, about magnificent cities and brilliant kingdoms. A Weekend In Istanbul!

Mosque in Istanbul.jpg

The Transcontinental City of Istanbul has its own aura and charm that perfectly reflects the past glory of the city. Spanning land areas of both continents of Europe and Asia, Istanbul has its commercial and historic centre on the European side while most of the population lives on the Asian side. Once you step on the soil of this place that had been the epicenter of the Roman, Byzantine, Latin and Ottoman Empire you could see the time standing still hanging in the atmosphere. Breathing the air of the place that was once the bone of contention between powers that dominated the world.

    Saudi Arabia: Beyond the Veil

The land of the Bedouins, of vast swathes of sand and deserts, but hidden behind that dusty façade is a country waiting to be discovered. Hitherto known mostly for religious tourism, the country is slowly opening for global tourism. As you make your way through the country, you would be surprised that those stories that […]

New Zealand Camping Sites You Can Visit on Your Trip

There is no question that New Zealand is one of the most beautiful places in the world, genuinely one of the last places where the world’s natural beauty remains pristine and untouched. Imagine constantly waking up to views of purple mountains and endless lush, green fields. Which is was not surprising to learn that when […]

Mumbai Escape at Ramada Powai Hotel

Mumbai is one of the most interesting cities of the billion+ nation of India. It does not have the imperial history of Delhi, it does not have the princely elegance of Jaipur or Udaipur, it does not have the holly spirit of Varanasi and you cannot find any monument which can rival Taj Mahal of […]

The most spectacular boom was probably the advent of couch surfing, a phenomenon similar in scope maybe only to Facebook, but there are still millions of people who want a […]
