Welcome to Imperator Travel, English version

Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for visiting this page and welcome to the “Imperator Travel” blog, English version. Why I call it English version ? Because “Imperator Travel” started as a travel blog in my mother language, in Romanian in November 2009. Since then, it grew month by month until it became one of the most read and influential travel blogs in my country. I am happy that hundreds or maybe thousands of readers used my tips or got stimulated to travel across the world. I hope this “English version” will do the same – will bring plenty of tips, information, “how to” advices and travel stories to help you organize your trips.

Who is Imperator ? My name is Cezar, so, the nickname “Imperator” came naturally from my name. I loved to travel since I was a kid. In my childhood and as a teenager, I visited only my country, Romania, as it was extremely difficult to travel abroad before the 1989 Revolution. In fact, my first foreign country I ever stepped in was Holland in 1991 when I got a 1-year scholarship to study in Maastricht University. Since then, I started to conquer country by country, continent by continent until country #87. You actually see my traveling story in a short movie

 

What you will find here ?

You will find travel stories from different countries across the world which I visited, but not only places visited by myself, there are also lots of guest posts. If you actually would like to contribute with stories about your trips, I will be more than happy to host them on my blog.

You will find tips and information, including breaking news with special offers from airlines, busses, trains, hotels, etc. Whatever fares I see really interesting, I will promptly share with you.

You will find stories about my country, Romania, an extremely diverse country where you can have so many experiences, but which, unfortunately it is less known. And I hope you will place Romania into your “bucket list”. However, the blog will not be only about Romania, we wil travel across the globe from Antarctica to North Korea and from Bali to Norwegian fjords.
