Photo Story: Hvar, Croatia
It is one of the sunniest towns of Croatia and of Europe. But, on top, it has a wonderful old city, one of the those perfectly preserved historical towns of the Croatia’s Dalmatic Coast. It has nice beaches (unfortunately, no sand) and some nudist island getaways if you hate clothes. Ladies and gentlemen, this week’s photo story is from the wonderful town of Hvar !
Images of Hvar
How do you get there ? By boat, most popular getaway being Split
After a bit more than 1 hour, we reach Hvar island

and the main street
Port and fortress – the most important sights in Hvar
Walking to the port is a routine for all visitors
However, we should heap uphill for the best view
and even upper

The great view from the fortress
Sleek speedboats in the port
Here are naked gals and guys – the nudist beaches of Hvar
A last view
before embarking on Jadrolinja back to Split
Great photos of a beautiful place–the higher you go, the better the views!
Thank you… that’s why I love climbing for panoramas… either towers, belfries or mountains 🙂 And Hvar is really a nice place !
I’ve just been there! It’s amazing. And climbing up to the fortress was totally worth it.
Greetings from Transylvania!
